im plannin on paintin my housings black this weekend but just had a a few simple questions about the "jdm" corner.

1. do i have to take off the bumper to change the corner light of a 5th gen?

2. the jdm corners only have one hole for lights and i think the oem corners use two lights and require two holes. how would i have to modify this?

1. no, there is one screw for the tab of the side corner light.

2. you only use the blinker bulb for the jdm corners. but to use the jdm corners you need to cut the headlight bracket.

 

u really dont have to take off the bumper but it makes things easier to work on.
i am not 100% sure but i think is just one screw for the corner

 

96 accord dont have blinkers, just wanted to add that.

 

u definitely dont need to take off the bumper. taking off the bumper does NOT make it easier to take off corners. my bad about the blinker thing, I did the foglight conversion so my blinkers are in the jdm corner now.

 

ohh that most look cool to see bumper and corner blinking. i have projectors i wish my corner angel eye would blink.

i was just thinking how easy ppl take out corner light since thieves love them.

 

well you cant take out the corner unless you pop the hood. and even then, the corners are only like 15$. id think they go for rims and audio first than corner.
