Default sunroof

Hey, i just got my car (1992 Accord 2dr) and i was wondering what are some of the best sunroofs to put in it. I would love to get a factory sunroof for this car but i don't know where to find them and i know that i can not get them new. The only reason i say that I want a factory one is because i like they way the factory sunroof look when open and closed, i also like the fact that i could have the factory switches on the dash too. Any way since i know that is not feasible i was wondering what kind of sunroof you would recommend and where a good place would be to have it installed. I live in Cincinnati, OH.

hey, about how much would one of these run? I can not find anyone with prices listed. Has anybody had any problems with there sunroof installs from them? My sister has a wabasco and all she has had with hers are problems, which makes it tough for me to convince my parents that they should let me buy one.

Blah...the factory sucks in my opinion for the 4th and 5th generation accords. They don't tilt (up or down...only open from side to side) so you can't keep it slightly cracked open to vent out air. I don't know where you live, but in California...we have California Sunroofs and they do a really good job (they in fact do aftermarket sunroofs for various dealers here). The brand they use is AESCE (something like that) for the power sunroofs. $1400 will get you a power sunroof, really nice sunroof and in fact I might have them put one in my Tundra. The pop ones are around $900 I believe from them.

Here's an interesting read about sunroofs.

I was impressed they had models that look just like the factory unit in my Honda. The electric slide back model looks perfect for a truck too. I would be sure to see if the sunroof has a track for the water to run away.

My OE EX roof has a drip channel that diverts water down the A piller and out under the hood.
