Default New here, few questions..

Hello everyone . I have 91 Accord LX Sedan. I was just wandering how much a good paint job would set me back. Also, my car is brown (interior & ex)so what would be your opinions on a brown interior and baby blue exterior paint job on my car? Do you think it would look OK?

My car has 155k miles on it and I don't think the timing belt has ever been changed (maybe once). Do I need to replace the belt ASAP or do I have a little time before it blows?

One more thing, what's the average price to get a spoiler installed?

Hi noob welcome to HAN. btw i love ur car righ now my brother is looking for one like urs n good condition.

timing belts are critical things n hondas so find out for sure if it has ever been change my guest would b yes most likely once and it should b time again to change it now or in 10k more miles.

a nice pro paint job should b less than $1000 if ur car is an good shape and if u do painted be sure to get a unique color. tooo many greens around lol mmm n the interior i would search ebay and other places it and find some nice leather like n tan or black i seen some sell around $500 and less complete kit. tan looks good n ur car. mmm dark silver with black leather yummi

to install the tail shouldnt b much all depends where u get it install, is all about looking around before making any choice.
post pics of ur car when u can.

timing belts are what you should think on getting since you have a 92 and it you think it hasn't been changed yet and you don't want that to snap. Also new paint jobs.. babyblue with a brown interior uhhh.. go for it what you do is up to you but don't spend a lot. I hope you can get pics up goOd luck

Change the timing belt as soon as u can, the motor is an interfierence motor and if the belt goes u could have a whole lot of damage, head and or maybe the pistons. Also if ur getting the belts replaced (timing belt and balance shaft belt) change the water pump to. Good luck

Hi and Welcome, Yes MAKE SURE it hasn't been changed already, It's kinda on the pricey side to get changed. A timing belt, in my opinion, should be changed after 90-100 thousand miles. Everyone has there own rules though. As for the brown and baby blue, yeah leave the color as is. I would focus more on the mechanic aspect of it right now and making sure all that's straight b4 messing with paint. I agree, a good paint job would be about 1500+. I'm bringing in my whole body kit and wing to be painted in a couple weeks when it gets here, and it's gonna cost me about $1100-1200, and these guys are the only guys that can paint my silver paint PERFECT.

sup noob! welcome to han! i got a $600 1day paint job that'll last like 3 yrs...but since our cars are old i figured it'd be just fine...reg maintenance is crucial...so look into the belt...spoiler install can be a diy...my dad and i did...just need a drill, some bolts, some nuts, some work...mark off where u want it, make sure u won't be drilling through any wires and junk, and go at it

*edit* u can check out the paint job here, http://www.cardomain.com/id/uclaccord
