Standard tune-up?
My friend asked me today if I could do a tune-up on his car. He drives an old Ford Grenada ( T-A-N-K ). I was wondering what exactly I should replace/check. I figured I'd replace the plugs, wires, dist cap & rotor, and check all the fluids?

That's old enough, it might have a carburator. That would be part of a proper tune-up, but you'll want a manual for that.
Measure spark timing, look around for an emmissions sticker under the hood for the timing spec & sparkplug type & gap. Maybe it's old enough to have points in the distributor???

If you can find an emmissions compliance sticker under the hood, what does it say?? For example...
Idle speed = ???rpm
Idle mixture; adjust to achieve XX% CO in the exhaust.
Spark timing:
maybe it'll tell you to disconnect some hose, plug some hose or whatever...
You used to be able to buy carb rebuilt kits with gaskets, seals, jets, & accelerator pump plunger. That is... IF it acts bad. Probably you can clean the outside linkages with spray carb cleaner. But you'll want a manual before you screw with the mixture adjustments.
Ignition points... those were fun. You have to use a dwell-angle meter.
