Default help! airbags and windshield busted

I was driving home last night and there were construction on this one road. They shaved the road down leaving sewer entrance exposed and sticking up really bad. I slowed down but hit a few pretty bad. I bottomed out on one causing my airbags to explode with 3 people in the car and shattering the windshield. I couldnt drive the car home because it wouldnt go in gear and I cant take the key out either. How do I get the car going again? Can I get a police report? Can I report to the city or maybe Honda?

thats why the speed limited @ road construction sites is set to 25mph. Take pictures of the exposed sew entrances call the police and report it to city hall, and get a lawyer.

Yup make em pay.

RB had a similiar thing happen when he was driving down a road here in Portland, hit a pothole, and shattered a rim (Portland potholes will swallow you whole). Anyways he submitted a claim and they laughed so him and his parents got a lawyer and ended up winning more than the full set of rims was worth out of it.

Airbags deploying is major damage to a vehicle so I would definitley be making a claim. If however your vehicle is beyond legal description for ride height (too low) then you will probably be S.O.L. as that falls under your responsibility and can be deemed unsafe vehicle. If you are on cut springs they can also claim the same thing in this case because cut springs do not give consistent height and because of the bouncing of the springs it may have caused the car to hit the sewer cover.

Just some things to think about.
