Default Indoor AC Filter

Quick question for you wizards. I have a 95 Accord, and I have low/warm airflow from my AC. Just today I noticed that all of the sudden there is a leaf in my vent. I had the ac system checked, and my freon level is good etc. Now when the temperature is cool outside, the ac blows great air, but when it is hot outside it seems it takes forever for the ac to blow cool. My question to you guys is, is there an ac filter in the system I need to check? To me it just seems there is something causing a restriction in air flow. Any advice would be great. Thanks....

there is no a/c fiter.. but u might want to take out the circular wheel that the air goes through... forget the term for it... like the blower or something... it collects leaves etc... over time. but that shouldnt affect the air temp.
