Sorry to hear about your car, man. I've been hit 3 times for the stereo. If I've learned anything, don't advertise what you have. Try to conceal the head unit, and everything else for that matter. I've seen ppl running around with Fosgate, Audiobahn, etc. stickers on their cars...dumb! Also, turn down the music a few blocks before you park, so that nobody gets tipped off. Works for me. It's been 12 years since the last time; knock on wood. Death to theives

I ran into those problems a couple times.

1st time was at school they:
1. Smashed my drivers side window
2. Fubared my dash trying to get my deck out(had it bolted in so they bent the sides of the deck and i had to take it apart to realign the case so i could get cd's in and out)
3. Ripped out my rockford 800a2 amp

2nd time they did it at a repair shop
1. Smashed my back passenger window
2. Took apart my dash nice and neat.
3. stole deck and unpluged wireharness
This wasnt that bad because shop paid for a new deck and replaced the messed up dash from the previous time

yah that suxs. i knoe wat you mean. my car was parked in my drive way. may be 25 feet from where i was sleeping. and they ripped it straight out. they weren't in a hurry because they took their time to look for the remote which was hidden inside the car. some theives are real thieves. i mean who even takes like the money out of the little box. and this all happened while the alarm was on, amazling they didn't set it off.

do what i did. i got security camera and now my drive way is under survellience. not to mention a 2 system alarm. if my alarm goes off while im sleeping im running out there with my sword.

ahahahaha, you running out there w/a sword huh? If im running out there, it's with some heat, but that's not necessarily a good idea cause we all know how hotheaded we are about our cars. In the bigger picture, it's pretty stupid to run up on someone like that cause you don't know what they're packing, but in the heat of the moment our balls take over and we do exactly that. Matter of fact, I ran out on the fags who stole my Civic as they were hauling *ss down the driveway in my car, I could have gotten shot with the quickness. Oh well, I wasn't tripping on that at the moment. It's all good, I won't be installing anymore electronic goodies in my car, I've lost over 3'gs worth of stereo equipment in 2 thefts so im good.

Sorry to hear that bro. My radio was jacked for the 2nd time 3 weeks ago so i feel ur pain...again. The face plate was detached and they even broke into my glovebox(it was locked) and jacked all my cd's and faceplate. This time was at my apartment complex and my roommate's about to get a system for his car, but im gonna show him this post tomorrow.

We have a way to deal with our cars if I hear them get jacked outside my window now.
Step 1) Get bat next to bed
Step 2) Run and knock on roommates bedroom door
Step 3) Proceed to front door while he stops off at front closet for 4' long steel pipe
Step 4) Proceed outside and beat thief without hitting the head(don't want to kill the poor guy )

But like you said, you don't know what they're packing so it's best sometimes to not let our anger get in the way and get shot.
