avoid slotted/and drilled like the plague.

avoid drilled in general unless they are CAST drilled rotors (not actually drilled)

stick with pure slots.

those are just brembo blanks that people drill holes in, although they are real 'brembo' brakes, they are not the same as the Big brake kits you would buy. If you want the real deal, your going to have to get the whole brake up grade, $2k+ slotted + drilled

they are in the brembo boxes...isn't that illegal if they do that?? cus it's not a genuine brembo product?? oh and they guy said that these are "dimpled" so they won't crack...and i heard that brembo ones don't warp that easily...but in either case...where can i find some whole break upgrade information...like price/manufacture....heard AEM sux.

thanks for the replies though.

AEM isn't actually all that bad. You can go to the manufacturer's website. www.aempower.com www.brembo.com

dimpled? bogus.. anyone who drills holes into a tempered rotor is a con artist..

and no.. no law saying you cant sell modified parts, just dont expect brembo warranty.

for the 4th gens im not a big fan of AEM.. a bigger rotor using the same caliper sweep = waste of time IMO.

but for the 5th gens (maybe 6th??) they have a 4 piston monoblock setup which is quite nice.

I think they drilled it themselves. I'm sure they work, but you may have problems with them if you plan to work them hard. I hear they may crack if you do so. Being dimpled sounds like it's half drilled or it's more like slotted, but dots instead of slots. *shrug* no comment.

The AEM big brake conversion is crap from what I hear. Don't waste your money. It works, but not for its price.

Get the slotted Brembos, or go with another repuatable brakes company. Where can you get slotted Brembos at anyway?
