Default No bumper lenses...

Wondering if anyone here has "shaved" their front bumper lenses on a 5th gen stock bumper? I want to do it this summer, but want to see how it looks first. I love how the 6th gen looks without them, want to apply the same thing to my 5th gen. Anyone have any pics, or even a photoshop?

Thanks!

Not a good idea. Cars from some angles won't be able to see your turn signal. In the 6th gen car the turn signals were integrated into the headlights. Not for looks - as a cost-saving measure.

look he is basically sating that it is not to safe because from some angles cars would not be able to see here you are turning and if the police will see that they will fine you and would eventually cost you more in fix it tickets or even worse an accident that you might get into plus i dont think it will look to good

i just see a lot of people customizing their oem front bumpers for the fmic when they turbo...and some of them look decent....kinda like a very unique body kit....but i can see how it could look like ass also

Well, I already have the signal problem solved, and it works great, so im not concerned about that. Plus, I figure that the back of the Audi A4 looks like the back of my car... so I'll make the front look more like an A4 front end, with no bumper lenses. Possibly someday i'll integrate some projector fog lights into the bumper, directly below my HID projectors, I love how that looks at night.

When I get my rust fixed this summer, and paint the car (same color) i'll have them fill in the holes for the lenses, so you'll never be able to tell there was anything there.
