Default 89 Accord power steering

My brother is having a power steering fluid leak. It is leaking about 4 inches down from the power steering box(pump). Does the entire line need replaced? or can it be pieced together in someway? Is it difficult to replace? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

be sure to see exactly where the leak is comming from... the fluid could be leaking at the pump and then just traveling down the hose and dripping at a different spot. If it is the hose that is bad, you can usually have places like Napa make a new line, as its just a high pressure hydraulic line... and it is cheaper than buying a new line from Honda. What model accord is it, I have an 88 DX parts car, so if its a DX or LX, I could snag the line from that and sell it... the LXi and SEi may even be the same.

I wouldnt attempt to fix it if its a high pressure line. The hose is made to withstand a great deal of pressure and wont hold with a normal "fix".

It's the line going from the right side(drivers) of engine across to the left in front of the spark plug wires
