I'm about to get a bonus from the company I work for, and I've decided I'd like to get a body kit, and quite possibily a VIS CF hood. I've already researched all the compound materials (fiberglass, urethane) but I'm having trouble locating urethane kits.

I've been able to find the R34 (or is it the R33?) front in urethane, and of course the WW kit. I'm not saying I don't like the WW or the R34 front, I just would like a bigger selection.

I'm also concerned about fitment, and would settle for fiberglass if it came from a respected manufacturer, but at the end of the day, I want a unique Accord with near perfect fitment on my body kit.

Can you guys list what kits you have, what it's made of, how the fitment process was (custom installs?) and where you bought it from? TIA

Kenton, I sell and install a lot of VIS products (Body kits, hoods, fenders), and I always guarantee fitment. I know VIS says "AS IS" all over the place, but since I do a lot of business with them and have a good relationship with them, they do exchange anything that has a fitment problem (so far I have not returned anything).

I first off check their kits when I pick it up from their warehouse to make sure it has a smooth finish, all grills are installed, and there are no inconsistencies. If I am installing the kit, I always test the fitment before it is painted, just in case.

For their hoods, they always fit great, (even the Invader and EVO hoods). I also have a deal with VIS that I can special order any hood in Silver Carbon Kevlar (takes about 6-8 weeks). And most of their body kits I am also able to get them done in Carbon Fiber, or Silver Carbon Kevlar. (Just a little extra special treatment I get from VIS). I am also trying to set up a deal with Kaminari to where they can make custom Carbon Kevlar products (they will be making a KTR wing with Silver Carbon Kevlar for an 03 eclipse exclusively for XS MODS.)
