Default P0401 EGR problem - Still covered?

On my 2001 EX-V6 I had the dreaded clogged EGR ports at 60k, and the dealer installed some kit that fixed it. I know I got a letter stating they extended the warranty on emmisions problems.

Now my friend who has a 2001 LX V6 is getting the P0401 code that says EGR Flow Insufficient. She has 75k.

Does anyone know if this is still covered? I thought it was good for 80k but I can't remember.

I'd like to be armed before I try to call the dealer for her (they tend to BS any female that calls...yeah, I know, that sucks).

My sister had 80k on her 2002 EXV6 well past warranty. The dealer fixed the issue for free. Siunce the issue is emissions and must be fixed by gov't laws covering emissions equip. on newer ODBII cars.

Honda usually fixes it hush-hush they hate bad press.
