Braking at fast speeds cause shaking in steering

it's def alignment or rotors...i had warped rotors and it would do that...but the mechanic said that alignment causes it to shake in one direction like in/out...and rotors up/down...somebody get a check on that?...gl...i'd say rotors cuz it's when ur brakes are under load

It has to be warp. You are definnatelly heating up the rotors alot if your doing alot of downhill driving... thats it! get something better.

^ he ment a cheap price not a cheap rotor..remeber alot of the cases is..Il say it now and say it again..you get what you paid for..

in my aunts 88 pontiac 6000 it did that and i tracked it down to back lash in her stearing link? bar that comes from rack and pinion unit out to wheel (not shure what that part is called that the front bearings sit in)
