Default '97 Accord Door Adjustments

I need help on my 1997 Accord. The drivers side door doesn't close properly. It seems that it does not close far enough. If you look along the length of the car you can see how that door sticks out further than the rest. Also the switch that senses if that door is open isn't pushed in far enough to turn off the dome light or the door ajar warning. Does anyone know how to adjust the door or latch so that it closes properly? Thanks

I looked in the corner and that switch is tightened down. it's not in the switch cause if I tape a dime over the spot where the door contacts the the switch it fools the car to think the door is closed all the way. I think the problem is that the door isn't closing far enough, like the latch is misaligned and doesn't close right.

same thing happened on my 95. Just took it to a body shop and they fixed the problem free of charge and in a few minutes. the door hasn't had a problem since, however it does periodically rattle.

maybe the repair guy left a screwdriver in there.
