New Accord HP??
the accord coupe type R which was a honda R&D concept did have a 3.0L 300hp V6 in it...it was basically a modified version of the 200hp engine in the 6th gen accords...badass car...suspension was worked to where the car would actually oversteer before it understeered, if it did either....but the 7th gens are 160hp for the 4cyl, 240hp for the V6

And it wasnt the Accord Coupe Type-R, it was the Accord Coupe-R. ACR.

The ACR was a special prototype built by the engineers at Honda R&D in Raymond OH. A picture of it can be seen on their website. It had a supercharged J30 engine making about 300 horses.
Also the 7th gen Accord Coupe Concept, which had like 300 horses.

It has been documented by the Honda engineer that the current Accord V6 does gain more power using a higher octane fuel such as 91, 92, or 93 octane gasoline. I'm not sure but I believe it was USA Today that had the article. Maybe do a search with a search engine for the article.
There is a member on another Accord forum that has a custom made turbo charged 6spd Accord Coupe. If the Accord Coupe is red w/ the OEM factory lip kit then yeah he's probably pushing 300hp to the wheels.
But nope... a lot of Accord V6 owners are dynoing at around 220hp to the wheels SAE corrected with minor bolt-ons and some tuning. Not much is out for the Accord V6 other than a few intakes and exhaust systems. Unless the Accord is spraying w/ nitrious.
I just recently added the Greddy Evo 2 dual cat-back exhaust system to my 03' Accord V6 Coupe. Very happy w/ it!
