Default Air Conditioning Filter Location

I was wondering if somebody could tell me where the air conditioning filter (cabin filter) is located and what needs to come off to replace it. I'm pretty sure it's on the passenger side, but how much has to come off & where do I start?

Many thanks,
-Dan

Remove Glovebox. Literally take a screw driver and take out the glove box. Once you have it out its right in there. Slide it out/ slide fresh one in and your set.

Do you know if you car has it? Its optional on the 4cyl.
Standard on Climate Control.

it's located behind the glovebox. you'll have to remove that first.

try searching "cabin microfilter". i'm pretty sure someone has a DIY tutorial up.

P.S. Manual says to replace it, I already ordered it - I hope it isn't optional!

Just a tip on these cabin filter replacements. If it's cold outside and in the car when you replace it, I would run the car with the heater on for about ten minutes. the plastic trim pieces will snap or crack real easy when cold. I've done tons of replacements of these filters at the dealership and It's happened to me even when im careful half a dozen times.
