Question about these rims on my car
Ok here it goes I just bought a set of Enkei Rs-6 's they are 18x7 with a 38mm offset wheels from discount tires while we were on vacation last week I have a 1991 Honda accord they told me to go with 215/35/18 tires which I have not gotten yet still trying to find a good deal on 4 of those
anyway my question is will I have any problems with this size and offset rubbing or anything I am asking now cause if I am going to have problems I will just sell them now brand new and pick up some 17" with tires ~ Also I will be lowering the car so it does not look like a 4x4 when I get theses on if they ever make is on ~ Thanks alot please post any all thoughts on this these are the first pair of rims I have ever bought~
Thanks again for all your help like always

Well I know I want to drop the fender gap quit a bit yea I was thinking probably 35-40 series and then they told me to go with 215/35/18 they said 225/35/18 might rub so here I am brand new rims in the boxes, tapped out for $ with no tires looking at my rims everyday not on my car but in the boxes lol so do you think it is a wise idea to keep the 18's then will I be safe or shiould I just say screw it and sell the 18's and go for some 17's with tires?
Thanks EliteAccord

Thanks and also if you know someone trying to sell some of this size tire please let me know or let me know where I could get a good deal at not much around my town here I got the rims in Colorado Springs at Tire Discount but I live in Kansas (Cow Country) also what are the pro's of 17's and what are the pro's of 18's vs. 17' s and the cons besides a very noticble dirrerence in price of tires~LOL Remember these are going on a 4g accord 1991 Lx Coupe do most 4g's run 17's or 18's?
Thanks again guys sorry for all the questions this is just my first set of rims ~

Hey! I have Nankang tires!
heheh. and I like them. A lot. Sadly. They're like cheap Kumho's...if there were such a thing. Gotta love the performance, look, and feel at this price.
I believe they had a test on 17's vs. 18's in Road and Track a few years back. Between 16, 17, and 18, the 17's were best all around in wet weather, dry weather, track, and drag. 18's are only good for looks but 17's are best for all around performance on normal cars. I think that for your gen accord if it's a '91, then I'd go even lower with the 16" rims.
Don't get me wrong. I think 18's will look really nice though, and I hope you don't plan on racing in them. I believe most 4th gens run 17's though. Not that it should matter what other people think. It's your car. Personally, I'd stick with the 18's if they don't rub. 2" drop seems like a lot though (maybe because I have a kit with 1.5" drop).

Got pics of the wheels??? I have 17X7 Enkei Fubuki wheels wrapped in 215/40Z-R17 Yokahama Parada tires, and I live them. No rubbing, great feel, and grip. I suggest going to a 17" wheel, even though i really really want 18's. thats just me.
