Default 6th gen accord clock light

Hey folks,

Just noticed tonight that my 02 accord's clock no longer lights up. Did a search on this forum (love this place ) and found out it's that little light bulb causing my problems. Okay so where do I buy that little light bulb from? Do I need to go to the dealer or can I go to some auto parts store like Checkers or maybe even Radio Shack?

Bring around $3 with you and go to the dealer. I don't think there is a standard for these bulbs so only the dealer would have them. I take it u know how to get it out? U just need one couse the other brown one is for the hazzard light.

yea, I know how to take it out. In fact I took it out last night to see how easy it is to do it. Alrighty, looks like a stop by the dealer on my way home. Thanks for the info.

Mine goes off every once in a while. I take out the clock, move the wires around, and it comes back on haha. The 6th gen clock demons are well documented.

Pry the clock housing out (contains the hazard button as well) with either a small flat head or just your fingernails to prevent damage. Once it's out, unplug the harnesses, and you'll figure it out from there.
