There are many ways to clean injectors. My class is going through this right now. Adidtives to your gas don't work I dont car how you did it, its like adding the little NOS bottle to your gas you arent any faster. Anyways heres what we did.

1. Unpluged the fuel pump. Harness in your truck passenger side just unplug the piggy back.
2. Unplug the fuel line to the fuel rail.
3. Next we used a guage tank, theres also different ways of doing this, one side has air compressor hook up to a guage then to a little tank that you pour the BEM fuel injector cleaner into then another valve with guage then a line to your fuel rail.
4. My cars fuel pressure with the regulator disconnected was 38 to 46 psi you want to run it at 35 no more no less so the system doesn't kick on.
5. turn the car on and let it run till it dies (fuel injector cleaner strong enough to run car and clean at the same time when car dies you know the tank is empty( not your gas tank))
6. At the same time you letting it run get the throttle body cleaner and spray directly into the intake manifold, if you spray to much at a time the car will bogg down but you do want to spray the whole bottle in.
7. After its all said and down the kit comes with a high potent gas aditives if it really works i dont know but its a lot bigger bottle than your buy at the gas station. Add that to a full tank of gas and your done.

Injectors cleaned and ready to go believe me that sh*t really works I got my kit from Poormans in my town for 27 dollars I believe you can get it at Autozone or wherever.

1. ...just unplug the piggy back.
You mean that electrical plug in the trunk right?
3. Next we used a guage tank...
What's a Guage Tank?
, theres also different ways of doing this, one side has air compressor hook up to a guage then to a little tank that you pour the BEM fuel injector cleaner into then another valve with guage then a line to your fuel rail.

a guaged tank is and bottle or tank that you can dump fuel injections cleaner intothat has a top and bottom guage for psi and has an inlet and outlet air line.

The reason those bottles of dump in don't work that well is because all they do is trap the gunk and grime it removes from the fuel system in the injector screens. If you have never seen one those things are sooooo small. If you really want to clean your fuel system you either have to remove the injectors and clean them after you flush the system or use an actual machine. The reason machines work so well is because they cycle cleaner in and out of the fuel system actually removing buildup.
