Default Something new and Blue:)

Made me a Stainless cover like the Accord Din Cover I made to go on top of the cubby hole in front of the shifter and cigerette lighter. Then put a neon light behind it

Just in case your wondering....this is how I did it.....:

Step #1: My wife draws a picture......in this case its Goku from Dragonball Z.

Step #2: I scan that picture into the computer and save it as a monocrome bitmap.

Step #3: Then I use a program to turn the picture from a rastor based file into a vector based file so most cad programs can read it.

Step #4: ( The hard part )

I redraw everthing as vectors and I have to figure out what pieces of metal are going to fall out and what stays attached when the laser starts to cut into it.

Step #5 : You get this as a final product

Of course now that I have that saved to the hard drive I can reuse it, scale it, or what ever I want to put that particular drawing into like the cubby cover.

Check out my site at the bottom of my sig, any of those things that I have already cut out can in some form or another be put into that cubby cover.........or even that Din plate that i made....
