Default repaired, mounted, balanced ... CL-S Rims installed.

i got a set of CL-S rims and rubber within the past week. knowing that one of the rims needed work, i took it to a repair shop.

before

after

unreal work ... that was the worst ding on the rim, but there was alot more on there. the shop filled, sanded, painted, clear coated, and baked everything back to its original luster. not bad for $100. ( www.fixrim.com )

then, i got the when i got ready to install the rims, i realized that the rubber was in horrible condition. the previous owner had some massive camber issues and completely wore down the wheel to the point of it chunking apart. the stock Michelin Pilot HX MXM4's had to go, but i wanted to mount them onto the car first.

before

before after [Michelin's]

after after [Yokohama AVID T420's]

what do you guys think?

( i know the accord needs a drop, so no need to point that out )

Outstanding.

Do you happen to know if the 04 TL rims will fit on an 04 Accord coupe?

I love the rims. Be careful that you don't scratch them the way the previous owners did.

I don't think I've ever seen an Accord look better with TL-S or CL-S wheels than yours does. Looks amazing, good decision. It looks even better than I thought it would. The repair is unreal as well...looks perfect. Good looking car. You mentioned it needing a drop...it would look really finished with a mild drop.

The lug pattern is the same, and I would assume the offset would be great for your Accord.

thanks for all the " " posts! it really does make me feel better considering i spent a few $ i shouldn't have

the repair work is amazing. i was speechless when i saw them. i fully recommend this shop and their work. there's a bunch of locations around the US and they do mail order repairs too. www.fixrim.com i do like this finish the best, although they did offer to do a gunmental finish also.
