Default wheel/tire question

I am planning to buy my set of rims online. Couple of places I looked are tirerack, wheelsmax, wheelsnext. Question is: in their rims/tires packages do they give you choice of tires? I don't want to get my rims with some cheap-ass tires on them.
Thanks for any help.

I know www.tirerack.com and www.tires.com both let you mix and match wheels and tires. You can definitely get the combo you want. I'm not too sure about the other sites you mentioned though.

the other smaller sites usually have limited selection of tires, but they do offer cheapass, good, best type quality levels. make sure they don't stick with a tire size for a civic/teg like some places do.

yokohama avs100 are good tires. Mine are wide as shit, 225, but they don't stick out.

its true, when I ordered my rims from wheelmax I got the rims I wanted, the tire size I wanted, but not the tire I wanted. I got some nankangs, they do the job way better than stock, but I would have liket to have better tires. a new season is comming up and I'll proably get the tires I want.

If you're getting your wheels and tires from places like wheelsnext.com where they offer packages for 699, 799, etc, you don't get a choice of tires that go with it. They're usually like Nankang, or Visa or Hankook tires.
