I had the same problem on my 98 lx I4 when I lowered it. The clanking was loud and very annoying. So i installed my stock ones back on and now it still makes that noise. I checked every part of the suspen. and I could find anything loose or what was causing the noise. It still makes that noise and it's kinda embarrasing when your driving by slow by people and they looking at your car while your car is clanking over bumps. I'm going to put my aftemarket springs back on and wrap them up but I know it wont solve the problem.

I had Neuspeed Race springs with stock shocks on my 95 Accord. It was absolutlely terrible. Wayyy too bouncy, the ride quality was terrible. I suspect that you will have to get aftermarket shocks sometime...

I have a question about the wrapping rear springs with tubing method.

I looked at the pic on the website, and how does the tubing stay in place? I understand that you're supposed to wrap the tubing around the top coils of the springs, but from looking at the picture I wonder how they stay in place and don't slip off??

the wire loom is split, but still in a pretty tight circle, so it fits quite snug-ly on the coil. it is by no means permanent. it really does the trick though, and you dont even have to take the spring off to put the wrap on, cuz thats a pain!!!
as for the ride, yes the ride is bouncier but not too much. you get used to it real quick. i will try to post pics tonight. i really wish i did before and after pics, because it looks so much better now! before, on 205-40-17s, it almost looked like the accord was raised. imho, the looks far outweigh the fact taht the ride is more bouncy. if you have any more questions or if i forget to post pictures pm me.
