Default i need help again guys

Okay everyone, you know I respect all of your opinions here on this board so I need to bother you all once again. I have a 97 accord that is pretty much stock for now except a 4 inch drop and a headunit. I have 18x8 racing hart m5s on the way with toyo t1-s tires. Almost a month ago some guys side swiped me and ran from the scene leaving me kind of assed out. The police claimed that they looked but didn't find him through other insurance companies. So now I need to replace the whole right side of my car and hood. Since I need new parts I think I might as well try to make the best out of it and get parts that I like. What hood do you think I should get for my car. There are not too many hoods out there so far that I have seen. I would love to get a carbon fiber hood but I am worried because I do drive a lot so one chip in the hood will ruin it. I like the black widow but it might be a little played out. Also what are your opinions on z3 fenders. I think they are getting old too, so should I just stick with oem fenders?? Finally I need a new passenger side mirror so I don't know what to pick. My preferences are either getting the power jdm folding mirrors with some nice sidemarkers on my fender. My other choice is if any of you have the new september issue of sport compact car, on page 197 they have a style of m3 mirror with a diff looking signal. Whew! That was a long post, sorry about that guys. Also don't forget to watch out for people who don't pay attention to the road and can't drive! :madfawk:

what color is your car? IMO, carbon fiber hoods only look good on certain colors...and again my opinion, but i dont think z3 fenders look all that great on accords.

I wish!!! I'm still in college so between payments and insurance I won't be able to do that. Plus I still like my car a lot even if it isn't brand new. Also on that hood question a friend told me to get that ab flug style hood with the six vents. I was on the orange supra in fast and fur. I really don't know if I like any hoods out now so I need anyone's input. thanks again so far for the quick replies!

no dont get any ricey parts please. Just get a CF regular old hood or a factory one. And are you sure you want WRX blue? Its a little loud for an Accord IMO.

I think that a CF hood would be nice and light. Get some good quality ones. Don't sell out on your car.

As for the fenders, stay with oem. I hear the z3 fenders don't fit too well and they're fiberglass.

i think wrx blue is fine. go for it.

...I wish I had something that wasn't a black accord...

get your cf hood clear coated again with a thicker layer if you're worried about chips??? i've heard some have done this. i guess it depends on the quality of the hood.

but doesn't carbon fiber shrink in extreme cold too? Is there anything else I can do to the hood besides extra clear coat to make it more durable? I don't necessarily care about having the carbon fiber look, i mean it looks incredible but the style hood I want only comes carbon fiber so i don't care about painting it to match the car. I want the invader hood so is there any kind of weatherguard or sealed type stuff I could spray it with?? thanks again for all the help so far!!!!
