Default heating and cooling problems...thermostat?

I have a 93 EX accord w/150k miles... when i let it warm up (ohio is in single digits right now) it is fine then i am driving and when my temp hits normal it starts droping all the way to cold, and cold air blows out also. then it will raise again, then fall and just repeat this cycle. i have a thermostat and im going to replace it but i wondered if anyone had any ideas... sry for it being so long :dunno:

Yes. Do that first. It sure sounds like your thermostat is sticking.
