Default My setup...

Hey guys (and gals)-
I have a 5-spd 97 accord ex sittin on 17's, and im about to go through with this set-up, and would like to know what you think-

AEM cai(not the v2)
dc sports 4-2-1 headers
hi-flow cat
aem tru-power pulleys

(i will add a uni-muffler later, maybe a cat-back)
tell me if im in over my head, but i am looking to get mid-upper 15's. i want to go h22 & turbo but ive only got 34k on my f22, so i will have fun with my engine first :naughty:

so what do you think? can this be achieved? or do i need a lil shot of laughing gas? or should i go turbo now? please throw in your $.02
thanks-jesse

shoot dude just go turbo on the F22! I love the F22 anyways thats why I would say it...but yea if you would go turbo then forget the headers keep the CAI and high flow cat, and make sure that you get a nice cat-back exhaust! but I would definitely go turbo if you got the cheddar!

For sure bro. I say You could hit high 15's low 16's with your car for sure if you stripped the interior the way you have it now. With the low miles. The best thing you could do it turbo it. You could a cheap 1900 dollor kit with no intercoolor or get a nice FMAX or Drag kit for around 3900. Get your head port & polished and you could have a nice set-up.

If not turbo. I would run a nice 35-55 shot of nitrous on it. Cat-back exhaust and some more goodies and you have a 14's second car on bottle.

Good luck.

Jon

turbo the f22, it would be a waste of money to not to, rather than buying a full h22 swap, and turbo.

Turbo that biotch and forget that H22 swap...you'll be MORE than fine for 15's on that f22.

Depending on your driving skills you could get into the 15s. Also Id suggest getting some steelies to drag on instead of using your 17s. You dont really need to strip your interior to get there either.

that set up's obviously not the bang for your buck, but itll be reliable. If its a daily driver, i say go for it.
