96 accord?

need help on an 96 accord, have the usual setup like headers, exhaust, intake, wire plugs and spar plugs. But can I still make it fast w/o using nitrous. by the way it's an automatic

Thanks

try an ECU

But you got an automatic, the last time I heard someone race an automatic with all thes same stuff, he dropped his trans. It would be a waste of time to do more than that unless you got a stick!

and I dont bow2you. lol

Do a auto to manual conversion. Could get all the stuff for a stick and get a H23 tranny. That would help a good amount, better than that slush box.

Manual all the way!

swap to 5spd, theres no potential for our automagic cars :oh:

Plus if you get like trubo or something else accord auto tranny (exp 5th grens) dont hold up to N2 or boost.

All is not lost with the auto. You can buy upgrades for it form level 10. Like a new Torque Converter hydrolics, and a bullet proof upgrade. But this is all expensive. Only thing i would suggest that you do if your really planning on keeping this car and motor but you dont want to change out your working tranny get underdrive pulleys high flow cat and then get your head ported, polished and get a valve job and spend some cash get some forged pistons with higher compression get a hondadata ecu and get the car tuned youd be surprised what you could do.

i had a cam gear (currently for for sale), a header, exhaust, jacobs ignition (also for sale), AEM CAI, and an AUTO TRANS and it ran pretty darn good for an LX. if nothing else, it makes for an impressive noise display when you mash it and the tranny kicks down to 2nd!

Steffi Graf once said "Power is nothing without control"

I would personally try and do some suspension mods before doing anymore engine mods. Save the $$$ and do a engine and tranny swap and get rid of the slush box. Unless of course you can find someone to make that slush box into a sequential shifter then by all means keep it.

I am perfectly happy with the 145 ponies my 94 EX puts out. I might do an engine swap but cornering ability is of far more importance to me right now.
