My mom picked up a nail in one of her Nissan's Potenzas. The tire deflated and she drove on it for a little bit. When she filled it back up. (not knowing there was a nail, so it maintained some pressure) A bulge appeared on the sidewall. I think when se drove on the flattened tire to the gas station it F***ed up the sidewall. I suggest geting it changed ASAP.

A few yrs back when I had my hoopty ( 87 Camry w/ 6spd tranny... My dad had gotten a 6spd tranny put in eons ago. ) We were the original owners and the only owners.

Well I went to the gas station to inflate my tire but i noticed it wasnt inflating. So I kept the air nozzle on the tire just pumping air into it like crazy,
out of no where the shit exploded and i went deaf for like 5 minutes.

When I took the tire off there was a bubble on the inside of the tire. ( Not visible from the outside )

So a quick tip, dont ever fill up your tire with air if you have a bubble..........

That camry was fast as hell!....To bad she died at 247,998miles. The water pump, fuel pump etc... was going. So I kept the backseats which I leave in my garage as my chill spot so my friends can sit on it. ( I miss that car ) = (.

Hehe...I'm not meaning to laugh at what happened, but the way you described the tire explosion just cracked me up. I almost spit my water out. I hope your ears are ok, though.

What stretch of the GCP....file a complaint with the NYC DOT sometimes you may get some reimbursement. I haven't been in that area in awhile, but it pays to know where the craters are...

If you travel East bound in the far left lane, as soon as you pass the exit for Hillside Ave/ Clearview expressway, the left lane is all fux'd up.

Stay away from there or just slow down and drive around them.

The whole GCP sucks!.
I blew a shock once on my 98 GTI vr6 turbo. I was able to get the DOT to pay for the damages etc.... they finally paid out after 2yrs 4 months and 5days after the accident.

Not long after I hired an attorney thats when they paid.

You should of seen my friends when it happend. I could picture your expression cause they had the same one.

It was funny kinda scary though. The gas station is like right in the corner of an intersection and when it exploded it sounded like a bomb went off. Everyone turned their heads.
