Default O2 sensor--where to get?

Need to change my oxygen sensor so I called the dealer and he quoted me $242.23. Is this normal? Or Would I do better to just get an aftermarket? I know some parts are cheaper and that's not just in costs. Thanks in advance

Well look on ebay, they got powersellers on there that sell way below wholesale prices. Ive heard of an oxygen sensor I think during emisions testing so its got to do with you muffler or something so it should not be to hard to put on, go buy a haynes manual and get help from a family member to put it on, saves you a lot of $$$, and you get smarter with cars!

I'll look into Ebay, thanks, that price was just for the sensor itself and not the labor.

That sounds like what a dealership would charge for a sensor.

Get a Bosch sensor at a local automotive shop.
