OK. you bought a 2 year old car at damn near new price? WTF were you thinking?!?!?! :smack: I would just hope for an accident and not let it be your fault. otherwise you're going to lose money if you try and sell it at 13k. Well lesson learned. just tough it out.

I have 12% locked in for five years also, but I put 7000K cash down

payments down to from $225 to $200/mo though

You could put one of those ads in the classifieds that says 'take over payments on blahblahblah car'. There's a ton of those ads in the Dallas paper. Perhaps you could convince some poor rube that they need an 80K Accord for $370/mo. Or, you could do $350/mo and eat the $20 each time, or charge the poor rube a $20 service charge per month.

Hit up some unsuspecting kid. If you're going to do it, be sure you have a thorough contract made out with significant penalties for breaking the contract (use your imaginiation).

Refinance isn't a bad idea...you will still owe just as much but your payments will drop.

And you paid 17 grand for a car worth around 13 or 14. You, sir, are a moron.

actually...a text book example would be positive...would show how he got a GOOD deal...not what he did...this could be a text book example of how to get out of a jam...and for that...i would go w/ the...stickers/wing/exhaust sold to a ricer 15 y/o eager for a new ride
