god damned valves
well i did my valves again today, because last time i did them they were too loose and were ticking pretty damn bad. so i tightened them to .008in on the intake, .010 on the exhaust, 1 thousandth of an inch tighter than what the recommended valve lash is. i did this when the motor was stone cold. so i start it up an hour later and the valves sound beautiful. me and my friends go cruise a little bit and listen to my one friends system, shoot the shit, etc. so we all leave and i come to a stop/at idle and i can hear my damned valves ticking again. i open the hood, sounds like ****in marbles in my valvetrain. WTF am i doing wrong?

Could your cam be bad? Could you be wearing down the lobes? This is rare but happens. Are you sure the lock key is backing out on the valve adjustment?
I haven't played much under the hood of the F23A, does it use a hydrolic lifter for the cam to valve action? Don't have my manual handy. Could you be loosing pressure to the lifters if they do have them? My mechanical lifter Dart needed adjustments all the time--but the invention of hydrolic lifters fixed this?
