Tein or H&R
I have the H&R sports on my 5th gen and it did need a camber kit but the stance is perfect and the performance is great. I do both drag and road course on them and have no complaints about the springs at all....I would recommend a good set of struts though (do not get Tokico Blues).

H&R are very stiff, but i have race springs, you can feel every bump on the road. its great that other people also have the "floating" feeling, i thought it was just my car, but after the new suspension it went away. I heard tein's are more comfortable, just depends what you want and the red springs match my red struts.

That happened because I used to go through the speedbumps really fast on my right side (after I lowered it) but not my left and it messed up the camber and alignment. Maybe I had bad installation but I had them installed at California Tint (They've been doing installations for years). After I got the results from taking it to the shop, both told me that my left rear is fine, only slightly off; however my right rear needs to be cambered so I don't think it was an attempt to cover their butt.
Well I guess if you drive it like a grandma over those speedbumps/driveways EVERYTIME and never will hit a curb, you wouldn't need a camber for a while. Because just one big bump, your camber and alignment will be off. I'm saying this through my experience, not out of my a$$.
Yeah and I basically did it for the looks and to get rid of the "floating on a boat" feeling on highways.

And speedbumps are meant to go over slowly haha, that's why they are there. And hitting curbs? I don't think most people do that on a regular basis.
Hitting curbs and or speedbumps at a high speed will mess up the alignment on any car, lowered or not. But the alteration will be most likely in toe in or out, not in camber. Camber is a function of ride height on our cars.Does it look like I go fast over speedbumps and driveways?

Only springs I would ever concider:
Eibach's or H&R's --> Just look at the 2-brands and find the height you are looking for and go with that.
I love my Pro-kits but H&R has a bunch fo ride heights too.
OE sport .75" drop
Sport 1.5"
And a more aggressive 2.0" drop
and Eibach also has a 1.5" and 2" drop sets.

I have HR sports and think theyre alright. I used to have Neuspeed race and my HR rides smoother. I have them paired up with KYB AGX and think its a good combo for the money. If I could do it all over again Id save up for Apex N1 coiloves or GC/Koni Yellow combo but theres nothing wrong with the set up I have now. Great bang for the buck combo IMO.

Your alignment after the install wasn't done right. And it's true that you can get away without a camber kit with the sport drop. I went for 2.5 years on the sport springs without any camber kits. And I got about 25K miles out of my zrated 18" tires which is pretty good for summer performance tires driven somewhat aggressively.
So do you "NEED" a camber kit, no. But it's true that you will get better wear and life out of your tires with a camber kit. I just recently installed a rear camber kit for my car just to extend the life of my new 18" tires.
The shop is gonna say that your camber is off and you need a kit if it's out of spec because they want to cover their butt, you can't blame them. But just because the rear is slightly out of spec doesn't mean it's not liveable.
And it sounds like you were just dropping it for the looks, which is fine. But if you really want to get the most out of your springs, match them with some performance shocks to keep them well dampened, it'll ride better.
Bottom line, if you want your car to ride as soft as stock, don't lower it. I lowered my car for looks initially, but I love the handling of performance springs and shocks, thicker sways, braces, wider grippier tires, etc.
So I can live with feeling a few bumps, in fact I like feeling more connected to the road. My wife has no complaints about ride quality in my car, and we've gone on long road trips in it, so I think it still has decent ride quality.

This is great stuff guys! Keep it coming. So anybody out there with the High Techs? Maybe I should be the first to venture into the realm of the Tein High Tech spring. Also I notice that people like the Eibach. We talking sport line or the prokit? Anytihng else suspension is welcome here. Lower tie bars waste of money? I have one and really not sure if I could tell any difference. DC sports' description states that they are for poeple who have aftermarket wheels. ?!?!?!? What are your thoughts.
