Where do you guys think i should mount my 2 neons? i have a 7th gen coupe and i know i can put them where my feet are.. but are there any more creative ideas as to where to put them?

you could wire them to glow when you open your trunk. that would be some nifty lighting for that area.

 

sorry to be an ass but nowhere. Sell them on e-bay to another rice boy and use the money for useful mods...sorry but thats the best advice.

But if you're hell bent on keeping them, how big are they? If they're like 3 inches, you could put them behind your vents...I've seen some pictures with that done and it looks kinda cool. The trunk idea would be nifty. If you had any REAL mods you could put them in your engine bay for when you pop the hood...

Damn, all the smart asses. I dont think the man asked "Do you like neons?". Why cant folks just ignore posts like this, rather than say mean shit. Maybe he considers accents as real mods.

Trunk is cool, and under the dash. I cut a hole behind the arm rest in my rear seat. I plan to get a small neon tube to mount under my rear deck to illuminate my amps.

Keep them. Mounting them has nothing to do with opinions guys. I say do them where you want. A lot of guys on this board are not into this stuff including myself but since you dont drive a old pos escort I will respect you for having a nice 7th gen accord.

 

Cool your ass DOWN man! I was just ribbing him a little bit. I'm not a fan, so I give people shit about it. It's all in good spirit. I even gave him a couple ideas. But really...it doesn't sound like he has much to accent. Yeah he has a 7g and yeah they look nice, but so? Get some performance mods and don't be one of the morons who runs around and thinks their the shit doesn't stink because they have neon lights! Not saying that this guy would do that...but in general, that's what happens.


And those APC engine accents...

 

You could have them hidden behind the glove box and under the steering column (hard to explain, but pretty much its lighting up your feet). Maybe where the handles are on your headliner (or next to it). The trunk is a pretty good idea (especially if there is no trunk light on your car).

 

I think neons are cool. I have some in my car, and use them every now and then. Here's a pic from a car show last year:



They are somewhat rice, but when they're off, they're hidden, and no one sees them. Its also cool when friends ride along at night, and you flip them on.
