Default help, got a big scratch

Hi everyone

I don't know how to fix this... After a day out with parking came back home and found this deep scratch..

I think it was done when I park my car in Manhattan .

Anybody have any opinions how I can fix this..
I would be greatly appreciate it.

OOOUUUCH. that is one nasty looking ding. first thing to do, clean the surface and get a thick coat of wax over the area. it'll quickly form surface rust if you don't seal it up.

there's no do it yourself fix for something like that. you need to find a body shop that will massage the ding from the inside, then fill the scratch.

Why would anyone do something like that for no apparent reason... :upset:
Yeah you will have to take that to a body shop.

Hi guys..thanks for the replies

Yes is very bad..I think it might have been a screwdriver or something..

I think is going to cost over a thousand dollar with this repair.
Anyone have anything I can buy ..so I can prevent the paint from chipping.

Links would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot

A thousand dollars!? Dang, if I were you, I'd get some touch up paint, so rust doesn't form, and just leave it as is. Not worth a grand to me. Also, have you thought about bondo? Cheaper alternative.
