Default Another 6gen Taillamp mod

I am working on another tail light mod for my 6th gen sedan. This time I am improving the light output of the rear sidemarkers so that the whole lower half of the lamp will light up. Here's some pics. Has anyone tried this before, I am working out the detail's but just looking for some feedback, Here's oem:

Default light mod

I decided to try this because when you look at the car from certain angles at night you don't really see that much of a rear marker lamp, so I figured I'd try. It will definately set the car apart from the rest of the accords in town. Still working on how to wire them in, but here's a pic of the light on the car with the side lit up. I temp hooked up the wires to the regular lamp which is why it's not on in the pic.
