Just wanted to post that removal of the front rotor on the 01 V6 is a breeze. Actuall I had them turned. But it's a simple matter of removing the caliper and pad holder, taking out the two screws securing it, and it slides rignt off. I have them off in 15 minutes. $30 to turn them and all the pulsing is gone.
