idle goes up and down

last night, i started my car and the reves kept going up and down...i turned off the car and then started it again but it didn't happen anymore. what may have caused this?

Dirty / sticky AIC valve? If it never happens again, you might not be able to find out why.

could be a vacuum leak somewhere, your throttle body or intake are dirty. Its a number of things.
