Default Got my AEM pads

I got a bomb deal from SMA, they hooked me up for $50.

I was told I should upgrade my oem rotors too. They said no oem rotor can hold up to any aftermarket performance brake pad. Sounds like some powerslots may be in my future.

i thought oem rotors tended to be a lot stronger than powerslots ... i think AEMs just trying to sucker you into their big brake kit.

I'd just have to eat up rotors cause im not buying a big brake kit.

I hope the oem one's are stronger, but even still, I'm gonna get some slotted rotors soon.

go with EBC or some brembo drilled from brembo, but those are pricy...the ebc's are too but worth the money, ask alan eh warped powerslots right after he got em i think or were tehy powerstops? either way they are still weak sause.

I'm hoping my oem's last a while longer, I'll look into what rotors I'll upgrade to, not sure just yet.

probably those narva germany bulbs...after doing more research, i found out tehy are made by philips for aftermarket type bulbs for audi's and BMW's. I guess phillips is more of a OEM brand and they wanted to go for the aftermarket, so they made NARVA, i'm gonna pick up a pair for like 30 bucks i think. www.suvlights.com check em out.

$50 isn't a great deal, i got mine for like $46 or 48 from nopi last year.

anyways they are just trying to sell you rotors, aem works fine with stock rotors. they are actually BSing you totally cause it's the rotors that tear up pads generally especially slotted rotors. aem pads are basically one notch up from oem honda, they are not a racing pad and will not do anything to hurt your rotors.

get some brembo blanks or honda rotors if you need new ones.
