Default Transmission needs replacing

How much $ does it cost to get the tranny replaced in a 98 Accord V6 Coupe. The dealership is the best place to go to get this done?

My Wife Pitched a damn fit!!! i consider myself lucky.

I heard there was a class action law-suit about the Tranny's in the 98-01 accords because of known manufacturer defects or something?

I have a 1999 Honda Accord EX with 58,000 miles on it and the transmission is ****ed! The dealer will not replace it and the cost is 4,000 from Honda. If you hear anything else on this law-suit let me know.

Thanks
William

Here is the link to the warranty that Honda give out to defect accords, TL, and CL.

http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/...warranty_x.htm

Folks, I hate to say that you guys need to read and do research on this forum and the net before asking repeated questions. I have post several of the same links on differeent threads and different forums regarding this topic. I even sent a bunch of PM to folks here and honda-forum.com.

Please utilize the search engine here, it is very helpful.
