Hello, I have 90 accord dx. Automatic. I just changed the vss sensor because it was down shifting to third while I was driving. Research concluded it was the sensor. It's been two days and hasn't acted up. Now the s light is flashing. No change in my gears or anything. Everything is running fine. Help please. What could be causing this. Thanks

 

The first thing you need is the trouble code from the transmission to diagnose the problem. This site will tell you how to extract the code from the TCU and the possible solutions.
