I've posted this question before, perhaps on this website as well as some others and have not gotten much of a response. So I'll try to re-word it.

I'm thinking of getting a 6 spd coupe in March/April and I'd like some info if anyone has it:

Can I use the upgraded wheel/tire package from the new Acura TL on the Accord coupe?

ACCORD 17x7 wheel 215/50X17 Michelin all-season tires

ACURA TL 17x??wheel ???? tire standard equipment

ACURA TL 17x??wheel ???? tire optional summer perf

Acura TL 18x?? wheel ???? tire A-Spec package

One more question, Can you purchase the Honda Cares extended warrany from Honda separately after you buy the car and not have to purchase it from the dealer (Ford allows you to do this)??

Can you guys fill in the blanks for me? Thanks

 

the 6sp had a nice set of 17s already, but yes the 17s and 18s from the new TL will fit. the 17s are probably 17x7 and 18x7.5 for the 18s.

 

get a set of volks 17x7.5 and be done with it

The A-Spec wheels & tires on the TL are 18x8.0 (Acura factory gun-metal finished wheels) and Yokohama AVS ES100 235/40R18 tires.

 

Oh yeah, you can buy the extended warrenty later down the road but you'll end up paying more as well. Plus I believe buying the extended warrenty later will not include a lot of the available services when buying it at the time of purchasing the car.

BTW, check this guys 03' Accord V6 with the FP package and 17in Honda factory gun-metal wheels.

^those look nice and all but for the money i think a set of volks, OZ, or Racing Harts would be a better choice.

 

Thanks for answering. Yeah I didn't realize the Accord performance package came with the gun metal wheels. Anyone know where more info is about this?
