5th gen and 6th gen suspension
Here's the deal. I sold my 5th gen coupe and returned everything to stock. So now i have my set of APEXi coilovers. Im going to be getting a 6th gen coupe here in the spring and was wondering what the differences are between the suspension of the 5th gen and the 6th gen. i know that the suspension parts are compatible form 90-97 which includes the 4th gen accords, but i was wondering what, if anything, could be done to allow me to use the APEXi's on the 6th gen. i liked the ability of being able to adjust the ride height, even though i rarely did it, it was always an option. so if i could use the coilovers on the 6th gen, that would eliminate having to buy another suspension setup. so if anyone knows some specs on the two suspension, it would be appreciated.
Your 5th gen coilovers will not fit into a 6th gen. I don't know if anything can be modified to do so but chances are it would cost alot more money than just buying new ones (and probably wouldn't be safe either). My suggestion would be to sell your 5th gen coilovers and buy some new ones for your 6th gen.
guess it is time to sell them then. atleast i should be able to get enough money from the coilovers to by my next suspension setup. i'm looking at the tein basic setup for the 6th gen.
