I have a problem with my hood latch, for some reason it's loose and my hood doesn't close properly anymore. Like it doesn't shut completely, but it's closed/locked though. It also doesn’t make a “POP” noise anymore when I release the hood latch, but it opens fine. This happened right after one of my father’s friends messed with my car . Someone please help…. Thanks in advanced.

 

Make sure that there isn't anything in the way when the hood is closing. I'm pretty sure that they didn't mess with the latch. Just something in the way from having the hood close completely.

I don't know how many times I have seen or done thish:

 

i use a screwdrive to push something n the lock down so the hood can lock, i think the spring n the lock doesnt work or the cable, all i know problems with hood closing is a honda normal problem. look at the lock and compare the lock with another car and see if is that i guess.
