Default Seatbelt beep

Any1 knows how to get rid of that beep sound (seatbelt) when u put the key in the ignition to the on position or when u start the car. It's really annoying even thought it's only for like 5 sec I don't care for the light it doesn't bother me just the beep sound Is there a fuse I can remove?.

Isnt it the door being open that makes the sound?? On mine there is a switch that is coved up by a rubber thing in the door jam. I took that off, unscewwred and took out the switch,a nd used electrical tape to tape the switch in the down position...A more perminant option would be to take the switch, cut the wires and tie them together, making the door always be 'closed'

Hope that helps

Heh, if you guys think you hhave it bad, on my car (not sure if this is all 7th gens or just the coupes), but the car will beep 6 times in a row if the seatbelt isnt buckled. Then it will stop for about 10 seconds, and then beep 6 more times. It keeps doing it over and over. I dont know if it will do it forever, because usually by the 3rd or 4th cycle, I get tired of it and buckle the belt.

My cars don't have an annoying buzzer to remind you to wear seatbelts, instead a red light just stays on until you buckle up. I think the 2004 Accords have that new feature for seatbelt reminder like Constrictor was talking about.

My TSX doesn't have that annoying buzzer, just a red light that stays on until you buckle up.

Done deal until the SRS light turns on. Anything regarding the restraining system and air bags are linked to the SRS system. At least it is on my 6th gen...
