I have a 98 EX V6. Right now it has a single cd. I heard the 02 Ex's came witha 6 disc CD changer. If I buy one, will it plug right in?

since you have the EX radio, you should be able to add a 98 or 99 6 disc changer to the back. with the 00+, they changed the number of pins on the cable, so they won't work with the older headunits.

i believe that the radio harness are the same though. to be safe, go to pepboys and look for a Honda Radio harness. if the accord is listed through 02, you're good to go.

another option is to get a blitz cable and an alpine cd changer. the blitz cable allows the alpine changer to be used with the stock
radio.

ebay, but expect to play $250+ ... at that point, it's better to replace the headunit.

if you do replace the HU, you could get the LX / DX din drawer from the dealer to help clean things up. :bigok:

 

i swapped in the 6 disk 02 cd player into my 99 accord ex with single cd player. it was a straight swap, no mods needed
