Default Gauge Face Question

What is the best way to make sure the gauge won't lift up after installation. I got mine installed a year ago and now my speedometer and tachometer are moving so slow. I remember one time the guy who installed the gauge fixed it because of the same problem. He used double sided clear tape. I heard a lot of people using spray glue. I just bought a new reverse indiglo to replace the old one and want to make sure that the same problem won't happen again. Help !

just use glue. first time through i used double sided tape, didn't work. Used some elmers gel glue and it works fine and i can get them off if i want to. Just make sure you don't get any glue on the clear part of the gauges

how did you guys install the fuel gauge face? Moving the fuel needle doesnt screw it up does it? (the fuel needle isn't as mobile as the other needles). the only reason i ask is cuz i think my fuel needle is messed up...it doesnt move anymore...

i just put mine on, let the fuel needle go wherever it wanted. After i had my gauges on i went and filled up gas and made sure it went to the full position. When the car is off the needle sinks down, i think i busted something
