6th GENS: What 6.5" door aftermarket speakers are you using?

I was curious b/c MB's are just larger then a true 6.5"
The also are deep at 2.54" vs. 2" of most others components.
I've been thinking of running MBquart discuss series. 6.5" co-axials and 6x9's but to run them I would have to pull down my rear torsion bars for the trunk. Not sure I'm willing of doing this.
I have a JL 300/4 amp would really love to have speakers worthy of the amp. I have some Pioneer TSG1647 6.5" now (not installed), and some TS6960 in the rear. But at 30w RMS and 40w RMS respectively I can't imagine them lasting long with 75w RMS power. (I've not pulled the door apart yet. only the rear deck.)
Plus some buds of mine said they feel Pioneers get flat sounding as power is increased.

I have Kove speakers in the front and rear...I dont have the model # since I installed them in 02...about 4 days after I bought the car from Honda....
I know I definitely needed to use a spacer to get this done....
let me see if i can find the model.....
I tried installing Sony's and I needed a spacer for them too.
I dropped the screw driver into the cone and ended up having to get these koves since my pockets were kinda of thin.

No need for a sub here (subs are rediculous in cars IMO), just a good strong front and rear speakers.
Well the project kind of stalled at the moment as we ended up buying a TSX.
I have some Pioneer TS or GS 3-way speakers in the rear 6x9" spots.
They are blue mica like material with rubber surrounds. They have a depth of 2 5/16" which is the max depth the coupe can use with the stock trunk torsion springs in place. They sound really good from the factory head unit
Else the rest are stock, but I think the max stock depth for the door speakers is 2" I was planning to purchase some Blaupunkt Overdrive speakers for the doors b/c of their slim profile and power handling.
I haven't yet picked a head unit but at this time I'm running a Kenwood satellite radio system via hardwired FM modulator on the OE radio. So I planned to upgrade to a Kenwood headunit to use my current tuner and cables to keep my satellite radio setup.
I ended up getting a company car so my Accord doesn't get driven much so upgrading the radio hasn't been a major goal at this time. I'm currently in the process of moving so maybe I'll get to the car again this summer.
