Default places to get a cat converter

well my check engine light came on and i hooked it up to the computer and it threw a code saying that i needed to replace my cat....my dad called honda and they want $735 for one...is that not crazy?......anyone know where i can get one cheaper?

$735 that's it, I called a Honda dealership in the past for a quote on a stock converter and they said $850.

I would just get a universal catalytic converter and have it welded on.

Like the ones made by Catco and Magnaflow.

I found them here in town and in stock for around $100 plus $60 install or so.

Check your local muffler shop. Thats where your going to get the best price.

get a Carsound high-flow cat w/ pre-welded flanges from www.mufflertech.com for like $90+shipping
