I just bought a new cv boot kit and want to know how to replace the broken one. Can someone make of list of the things I need to do in order. Like how do you disassemble the axle to put the new boot on the shaft. Please help me Thanks

 

yeah, I tore mine a while ago but had them replaced. Don't they tear from trying to drift a lot? I say trying because my car doesn't really drift, just kinda slides sideways...

 

Undo the big axle nut, open some ball joints, & take the axle out of the car.

Undo the clamps on the INBOARD rubber boot, slide the joint apart. Take the tripod off (probably a snap ring or 2) & slide the inboard boot off.

Slide the outboard boot all the way down off the inboard end of the axle.
