i've seen people do it themselves, but otherwise i don't think this has come up before..

It doesn't make sense since the light output is little to none.

ive had em and light output is low fo sure. plus theyre leaky h:. but try em out. u might like em

I removed mine altogether. put mesh grill in ther. (dont liek it, looking fo rnew bumper but wont put the bumper lites in the new one eaither)
